Not just a kitchen sink, a complete workstation

The sink does more work than any other spot in the kitchen. Rigel’s workstation is built around that, bringing the sink, faucet and prep tools together as one integrated system.

Many kitchen renovations treat the sink, faucet and accessories as three separate decisions. You might choose a sink based on size and function, a faucet based on features and finish, then hunt down a drying rack or chopping board to fit. Each piece does its job, but the different components are not always designed or selected to work together as one system.

Rigel’s kitchen workstation starts from a different premise: that the sink area isn’t just a fixture, but the busiest workflow in the kitchen. Prepping, washing, rinsing and cleaning up all happen in roughly the same counter space, so it only makes sense for the elements within it to be designed around each other, rather than considered individually.

One space, fewer steps

The workstation brings together a 304 stainless steel sink, sensor faucet and task-specific accessories — an inner basin, drying rack and solid wood chopping board — all sized to sit within or across the same footprint. That means less back-and-forth between sink, counter and drying rack while cooking. Vegetables can be rinsed in the inner basin while the main sink stays free for cleanup, and the chopping board sits directly over the sink so offcuts sweep straight in. It’s a small shift in layout that noticeably cuts kitchen mess while you cook.

Touch-free, by design

The faucet is where the workstation’s health-conscious thinking is most visible. Rigel’s sensor faucet activates hands-free, which matters more than it might sound when you’re handling raw meat, cracking eggs, or working with hands that are already covered in flour. It also has a pull-out spout and runs two modes, Stream and Spray, switching between a direct flow ideal for filling pots and a wider spray for rinsing produce or cookware. The faucet comes in chrome or gunmetal to suit different kitchen styles.

Built for the wear of daily use

A kitchen sink absorbs more daily wear than almost anything else in the house – hot pans, acidic marinades, steel wool, and the occasional dropped knife. Rigel’s sink is built from 304 stainless steel and finished with either a HexaShield or AeroShield coating, both engineered to resist scratching and watermarking.

Sizing matters just as much as surface. A smaller sink fits neatly into a compact HDB kitchen without eating into counter space, while a larger one gives landed-home islands room to handle fuller loads. Rigel offers three size options: 550 x 450mm, 650 x 450mm and 750 x 440mm.

A workstation, not just a sink

What stands out is how the pieces work as a whole. Meals come together with less shuffling around the kitchen, and less is left behind to deal with once everyone’s eaten. It shows up in small, repeated moments too — one less handle to touch with dirty hands, one less surface to wipe down. Add those up over time, and the whole experience starts to feel not just easier, but cleaner, and more enjoyable too.
