We all spend time every day at the kitchen sink, whether it’s to prepare and wash up after a big meal, or simply to rinse out a coffee mug. Designed to make this daily ritual more enjoyable, hansgrohe has introduced a new kitchen mixer that not only sits handsomely over your kitchen sink but also makes washing up easier.
The new Talis M54 is a highly elegant and minimalist faucet that stands the test of time. It comes in three iconic shapes – the L-shaped, U-shaped and high arc spout – so you can choose the best fit for your kitchen and needs. There are also two options of finishes – chrome and exclusive matte black – to suit different interior environments.
The elongated and streamlined silhouette of the Talis M54 is enhanced by its slender pin handle and flat cartridge seat. Ever subtle, the minimalist hot and cold water markings, positioned under the handle, and the spray former, which is discreetly located in the spout end, are hardly visible. This is the faucet’s great appeal.
Attention has also been paid to the details, where even the sliding rings, sealing washers and the black hose of the pull-down spray have been designed to match the surface finish.
Besides its good looks, the Talis M54 also promises great ease of use. The ergonomic handle gives you complete control over water settings; the clear laminar jet with a flow rate of 5 litres per minute fills even larger pots quickly. The spray mode, on the other hand, is particularly resource efficient, as it cuts water consumption to only 3.5 litres per minute. Splashing has also been reduced, making the spray ideal for rinsing away light dirt.
Keeping true to its clean and minimalist design language, the intuitive control button is extremely flat and unobtrusive. It is also very ergonomic thanks to its precise pressure point, making every step easier, whether you’re washing vegetables or rinsing your hands.
The faucet even helps you to keep your sink in tiptop shape, because the faucet’s pull-down spray head has been designed to enable easy cleaning of the entire sink area. Not to mention it’s long enough to reach things away from the sink, such as plants or larger pots. Now that’s a piece of great design for you!
