Meir’s coloured bathroom and kitchen products caught our attention during a recent visit to FIND – Design Fair Asia. Here’s what we liked about them.

Coloured bathroom and kitchen fittings and fixtures are trending now and it’s easy to see why. With these spaces fast becoming two of the most important areas in the home, more attention is given to the little details that make the difference.
While visiting the recent FIND – Design Fair Asia held at Marina Bay Sands in September, our editorial team spotted many stunning designs from Australian bathroom and kitchen brand Meir that are becoming increasingly popular with local interior designers and homeowners alike. Meir is carried in Singapore by Mandk and is recognised for its premium range of coloured fittings and fixtures that marry superb function with timeless design. They come in six distinct colours – Matte Black, Champagne, Polished Chrome (in electroplated finish), Shadow, Brushed Nickel (in PVD finish) and Tiger Bronze – and are crafted using superior materials and quality components.
We hear that Brushed Nickel and Shadow are currently their most popular finishes and we’ve got to say that these shades are indeed unique, yet still versatile enough to suit a wide array of bathroom and kitchen styles.
Their new designs beautifully address the needs of modern homes, and here’s what we like about them.
We like how this round mixer (MW03) can adapt to multiple roles, serving as a bath, shower or wall basin mixer. It can be placed in any direction and in different locations, and offers so many possibilities.
Likewise, the spout (MS05) is suitable for any setup – from bathroom basins to kitchens and even laundry areas.
The Matte Black electroplated finish shown here adds a sleek, modern touch, but it’s also available in Polished Chrome, Champagne, Tiger Bronze, Brushed Nickel and Shadow.
If you’re looking for a complete shower experience, this particular combination is a classic chrome à la carte selection that includes the Round Bath Mixer with Diverter (MW07TS-C) that controls two function uses for its hand shower rail (MZ0402-R-C) and the 200mm diameter rain shower rose (MH04-C). The rain shower’s arm is the signature wall arm, which comes in the length of 400mm from the wall (MA02-400-C).
The same set up also comes in different colours and with options for wall or ceiling-mounted arms, so you can tailor it to your style and needs.
