'Be Your Own Masterchef' Cooking Class

On 14 September, 2013, Smeg customers were treated to an afternoon of culinary delights at the APS Lifestyle Gallery. The invited participants were taking part in the Smeg “Be Your Own Masterchef” campaign. This free cooking class is part of a campaign by Smeg and APS Lifestyle to add value to the customer’s shopping experience. Customers who had bought Smeg cooking appliances between 18 May to 31 July were invited to attend this class held at the APS Lifestyle Gallery.

Renowned Chef Lino Sauro from Gattopardo restaurant led the class, and demonstrated three dishes comprising of a starter, a main and a dessert. Chef Lino made full use of the Smeg Linea kitchen at level one of the showroom to showcase his culinary prowess and answered questions from the attending customers who were eager to learn from the Masterchef himself.

Apart from the engaging cooking class, attendees could also redeem Le Creuset bundles worth up to $650 each. Sweetening the deal was a pleasant surprise for the participants: they each walked away with a goodie bag from ingredient sponsor Barilla, as well as a free recipe book on Italian cooking.
